The soft flowing sequences are ideal for children, adults, pre-natal, post natal and beyond….Gently toning & stretching the body to increase physical strength & stamina whilst keeping the joints soft & flexible. Dru Yoga co-ordinates movement and breath thereby creating harmony in mind and body.
In yogic terms you are measured not by how many years you live, but by how many breaths you take. The breath offers a unique way to turn inward and quieten the mind. By slowing the breath will calm the emotions producing a positive physiological effect on the body, inducing a state of deep relaxation. This subdues levels of the stress hormone adrenaline and promotes production of “feel good” endorphins. At the same time breathing more deeply increases the amount of oxygen in the blood. The result – more energy, a double good effect!

In our Javea classes on Tuesday nights, we place special emphasis on breathing and relaxation.
A relaxed mother means a relaxed baby!
Focussing on your breath at a deep level you become more present and aware physically, mentally and spiritually. To breathe is to inspire and the therapeutic effect of yoga awakens and balances mind, body and soul.
